We are pretty excited and hoping the next 7 1/2 months fly so that we can soon see the face of this babe.

I was recently told by a student that I work with that I am full of fun/helpful facts. She says that I know "everything" and I joke with her that when she gets married she will wake up knowing "everything" too. haha! She also gave me the idea to post fun facts on my blog so I am going to give it a try and see how it goes!

Fun/helpful fact of the day:

Finger nail polish remover can take finger nail polish out of material without ruining the material. (This is the case with most materials some are subject to *disclaimer). It really does work! I have tried it personally on my couch and it took out RED polish (the devil of all polishes in my opinion.)

*Disclaimer - If said polish ruins your furniture, clothes, carpet, etc... I am not help liable and will not replace said item.

In other news the "nothing weekend" was a real success. I have nothing to report..... *crickets*


Everytime I try to think of something creative to write I get a little writters block because I see in big, bold letters flash acrose emy mind the word FLORDIA. You see, I am heading there for a friends wedding in a few weeks and I am giddy excited for many reasons.

I love weddings.

I love my friend.

I love the fact that she is getting married!

I am thrilled about a vacation.

First "real" vacation since Britt and my honeymoon.

I can already smell the salt and hear the waves crashing.

So, now you can see why everything else seems minute. Hopefully something will come to me soon and if not I will just have to write an amazing post about Flordia.

Too long

Too long.

That's what it has been. I have never been a good, consistent blog writer. I go through seasons, some seasons are much, much longer than others but nevertheless the season comes to an end.

Off-season.

It has been one really long off-season.

So here I am. Back trying the whole blogging thing again and not going to even bother trying to "catch up". It's just been that long.

I am overwhelmingly excited about the coming weekend!

You might be thinking it's because of the upcoming OU game. Although that is great the answer is - no.

Maybe because of the nicer weather we are having. Once again - no.

The reason I am thrilled because our trip to the lake was cancelled! Now, that in itself was not the exciting news. I am somewhat sad that we cannot go, and will miss spending the weekend with Britt's family. But because of the recent cancellation I have a weekend now full of basically NOTHING! We are going to watch the game at my parents on Saturday and that is about it.

So happy. :)


I hope to come with a great update for my said weekend. I imagine it will include watching a movie. Reading a book. Doing some yard work (I like yard work). And maybe buying a pumpkin or two.

my brand-spankin'-new nephew who is pretty darn cute if you ask me. This weekend will also include some holding of this kid.
