Hello blogger world!

It has been a long time since I have posted anything I know. Do you ever feel like life is so busy you don’t even know how to tell someone about it? Well, I have felt that way recently.
Here is my pathetic attempt:

Last week I spent a good 3 hours of my Wednesday afternoon painting a scripture verse on my brother Justin’s bedroom wall. I wish that I had a picture but I don’t. It is Jeremiah 17:7 though: “Blessed is the man who trusts the LORD, whose trust is in the LORD.” Not really that long of a verse but it took a whopping 3 hours and my arm was killing me. It is a lot harder then you would think. Especially since his walls have a heavier texture on them. I think that I was pretty tense the whole time and so it made my arm hurt even worse. Although I must say that it looked pretty darn good when I was done and I felt very accomplished! :)

This past Thursday we had a 25th anniversary party for my mom and dad. It went so well! We had been planning it for quite some time and we were so thrilled with the outcome of it all and I think that they felt very honored and loved. It was a smaller event. Just a few close friends. Counting the 6 kids and my mom and dad there were only 25 there but it was perfect. My dad has never been a fan of big groups and so I think they really enjoyed the “smallness” of the event. It was so wonderful to be able to take that time to honor them and just show them how wonderful we think they are and tell them what an awesome example they are to us. 25 years! That is so great!

Friday night was “Girls night!" I love that time with some of my girlfriends ot just be able to get together and talk “girl talk”. Then on Saturday I went out with two girlfriends again for lunch and went to “An Affair of The Heart”. It was a really great time!

Today (Sunday) Has been a WONDERFULLY lazy day. Britt and I have just been able to enjoy each other’s company today and it has been so relaxing for us. Life has been so, “Go! Go! Go!” recently that it has felt like we have not had time to breath so today was a “breath of fresh air” needless to say.

I hope a happy start to the week for you all!
